Zion Kids is the website of the Children’s Ministries of Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Minnesota, with programs serving children up to 6th grade and their parents.
Sunday School
Sunday School at Zion is held at 8:30 and at 10:30 during the school year for children ages 3 (on September 1st) to 6th grade. We teach God’s Word to our children through, Bible stories, music, videos, crafts, discussion and worksheets.

- Current Memory Verses (Sunday school children are encouraged to memorize a verse that ties into their Sunday school lesson. Each week the memory verse is posted on the bulletin board outside the Sunday School office. Parents are encouraged to talk to your children about the verse and what it means. It’s a perfect conversation piece for a family faith discussion around the dinner table or right before bed.)
Kids’ Club
If you like to sing, play games, do crafts and learn about God, you need to be at Zion on Wednesdays after school for Kids’ Club.
Kids’ Club is a Wednesday after-school program for students in grades 1-3. It includes games, crafts, and bible study. Kids’ Club is from 3:45-5:30pm during the school year. There is a registration fee of $15 per child (for the entire year) which can be paid online, brought or mailed to the church office (Zion Lutheran Church, PO Box 88, Buffalo MN 55313). Children can ride the school bus to Zion after school if they have an alternate destination form on file with the bus company.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is the first week of summer (for Buffalo schools) for children age 3 (on March 1st) to 5th grade.
Zion Day Camp
Zion’s full time summer day camp has 12 weekly themes, with Bible stories, verses, art, crafts, reading, team games and more that teach valuable lessons on being good sports and giving everyone a chance to do their best, and more! We hope your child will want to spend some, or all of their summer at Zion! (Full day and half day rates available).
Nursery Care
Zion’s nursery is available free of charge during worship on Sunday morning and during Wednesday evening programming. The nursery is staffed by a paid coordinator, assisted by volunteers from the congregation.
