Kids’ Club Caroling

On Wednesday, December 3rd, we will be going to Sunrise Assisted Living, to sing and ring with Ring Forth and Joy Choir! Please be sure permission slips are returned prior to our departure at 4:00 on the 3rd. We plan to return to Zion at about 5:00. Don’t forget Wed. night supper is available!

First, second and third-grade children are welcome to attend Kids’ Club on Wednesdays from 3:45 until 5:30.

Participants need not be Zion members. We share a snack, some games and music along with a Bible lesson.

First, second and third-grade children are welcome to attend Kids’ club on Wednesdays from 3:45 until 5:30. Participants need not be Zion members. We share a snack, some games and music along with a Bible lesson.
There will be NO KIDS’ CLUB on Wednesday, November, 26th, due to Thanksgiving break.
Adult volunteers are always welcome to join Kids’ Club.

Kids’ Club Has Begun!

Kids club began on Sept. 24th and follows the school calendar through May 6th. First through third graders will have the opportunity to participate this year. Kids’ Club is offered each Wednesday from 4:45 until 5:30 PM. At 5:30, children can be picked up in the movie room. We will sing songs, play games, learn Bible lessons, eat snacks, and create. Children can ride the shuttle from Buffalo schools. Be sure to fill out the ―alternate destination‖ form for the shuttle.

Kids’ Club Makeover

Kids’ Club is undergoing a “makeover” of sorts. In order to best accommodate this age group of children, the Christian Education Directors have decided to make a few necessary changes to better serve your children.

Kids’ Club will now include children grades 1st-3rd grade only. The program will focus on activities and bible studies that are age appropriate to this specific age group, where in the past the lessons had to be created on a far broader spectrum due to the variety of ages in attendance.

The 4th and 5th grade students will now be offered a program solely for their age group, called Club 45. Club 45 will meet quarterly, and offer fun an exciting adventures for the older elementary aged students. Club 45 offers the older children an opportunity to engage in activities that appeal to their interests. Our meeting sessions will include a fun “outing”, as well as providing time to communicate with one another about how God fits in to their everyday lives, and how to let God guide our choices and life decisions.

Wednesday, May 7th will be the last day of Kids Club. Thank you so much to Lana Scherber for helping with crafts, and to Tammy Johnson for helping with games for the first part of the year. We also had some middle-school helpers whose help was greatly appreciated.

Consider Volunteering with Kids club! We have some great middle school helpers, but it would be beneficial to all of us if more adults were involved. Kids club meets each Wednesday from 3:30 until 5:30.
